We don’t have time to prioritize convenience, economic efficiency, and appearance. We need design to focus on improving ecology and society. 

 

The Museum of 21st Century Design researches contemporary design — anything from an object to a digital tool to a political policy — and promotes those that help bring about a sustainable future.

 

We’re serious about being part of the solution. The museum doesn't have a permanent building. It's a compilation of temporary exhibitions and events in different locations, publications, and an online collection. 

 

M21D focuses on the future rather than the past. We're about conversation and engagement not conservation.
